Tax filing
When is the tax deadline?
Federal and Georgia returns for 2026 are due April 15, 2027. An extension gives you until October 15 to file, but any tax you owe is still due in April.
How much does tax preparation cost?
It depends on which forms your return needs. Call (470) 236-3214 for a free quote. We always tell you the price before any work begins.
Can you file returns for past years?
Yes. We prepare prior-year returns and amended returns, and help you respond to any IRS letters about them.
Do you help with ITINs?
Yes. We help you prepare Form W-7 and submit it with your tax return.
Health insurance
When can I enroll in a Marketplace plan?
Open enrollment for 2027 coverage runs November 1, 2026 through January 15, 2027. Enroll by December 15 for coverage starting January 1. Outside that window you need a qualifying life event.
Is your enrollment help really free?
Yes. Insurance companies pay licensed agents. You pay the same premium whether you use us or enroll on your own.
Will I get help paying my premium?
Premium tax credits generally go to households earning between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level. The extra pandemic-era credits ended after 2025, so many people's costs changed. We'll check what you qualify for.
What if my income changes during the year?
Tell us or update your application right away. Your credit is based on your estimated income, and it's checked against your actual income at tax time. If you earned more, you could owe some back.

Why use one office for taxes and health insurance?
Your Marketplace credit is reconciled on your tax return using Form 1095-A and Form 8962. When the same team handles both, your income estimate and your return line up.
Are you part of the government?
No. Georgia Tax and Health Solutions is a private, independent business. We are not part of Georgia Access, HealthCare.gov, the IRS, or the State of Georgia.
Do we need to meet in person?
No. We work with clients across Georgia by phone and secure document upload. In-person appointments in the Atlanta area are available by request.
